Cakes 4 Casualties rely solely on public donations. 

At the forefront is Kath Ryan, who buys ingredients, bakes, delivers and most importantly, spends precious time with the wounded and sick troops, whom she affectionately calls 'my boys'. 

The Cake Lady visits injured and sick soldiers in Birmingham Hospitals once a week, Stanford Hall (Defence Medical Rehabilitation) once a month on a regular basis, though she receives requests from all over the UK...as well as invitations to partake in events and weddings!
